Taiwan Soka Association

The Soka Association is "Lighting up Taiwan" with the philosophy and practice of the Soka Gakkai in 40 centers. In close collaboration with the design studio Taiwan Simplify-Design, and thanks to MGI, our Channel Partner Tarkett in Taiwan, 700 m2 of DESSO modular carpet were installed in the Buddhist centre.

This project was carefully planned for at least two years before installation was done. Designers from the studio said they chose Tarkett's modular carpet primarily for its unique, simple yet elegant appearance. "DESSO collections added a zen looking to space. As this is a Buddhist Association, their softness and tactility best paired with the Japanese interior design".

Renowned for its rustic aesthetic inspired by various natural shades, DESSO Breccia, Linon and Stratos collections added luxurious vibes to this spacious space through its meticulous design to details. Combining the strength and durability of the rocks shaped by the sea, the DESSO Breccia collection perfectly matched with the red bricks on the wall, demonstrating seamless combination with the interior design. In a space bathed in rich sunlight, DESSO carpet tiles celebrate what's found in nature with raw simplicity.
