Tarkett created 118 stunning black-and-white cartoons, using the unique Floorcraft method for the floor surfaces of the New Children's Hospital. The artwork, resembling Finnish children, was inspired by Tove Jansson's Moomin books and highly influenced the choice of floor materials that were selected. The material selection focused on user- and patient-friendly designs, as well as low-emission materials that promote good indoor air.
