Boutique Hotel Staats

The STAATs Boutique Hotel in Haarlem opened in 2017 to offer guests a special environment in which to relax and set off to explore the historic city centre.

Michiel Ruijgrok from the ESTIDA design agency and hospitality professional Claudia van den Berg joined forces to develop a unique concept of hospitality and luxury. In designing rooms and corridors, a large number of different Tarkett Desso carpet solutions were selected - Axminster, Asteranne, Fields, Iconic and Palesse. Another specialty featured is DESSO Engrave – a carpet that incorporates custom design printing.

“We chose Tarkett because of the good experiences we have had with Desso,” says Claudia va den Berg. “Tarkett’s expertise in the field of printed carpet also swayed us to select these flooring options. Our experience with the finished result is also excellent.”
